WebSep 24, 2013 · The Lamy is indeed LARGER and the way the clip retracts is unique. But I find that I end up cleaning it and putting it away in deference to using the VP. The CLICK is more convenient than the TWIST. I like the large nib on the D3 but it seems to dry out, even when closed up, if I pause in my writing, where any of my VPs (I have 3) start right up.
