WebDec 4, 2024 · The lack of a proper campaign, as well as a lot of content being removed, is hurting the game a lot for New Light players. The intro helps, but it isn’t enough to get you invested. Forsaken doesn’t work, because why should you care about funny robot man without the years of bonding beforehand? Same with Beyond Light and Shadowkeep. WebI think theres major issues w/ the monetization model: Destiny is Bungie's only active game. As a company Bungie does not want to simply maintain an amount of profit, they want growth. If Destiny is their only game, then that growth can only come from Destiny, so Destiny must get more purchasable content.

Like in my opinion shadowkeep is the worst of the DLC's but it gets you witherhoard which is amazing along with Divinity and a raid. But amoung the best for in terms of value, Witch Queen was very good for story and gameplay.

MMOs do this all the time after content reaches a certain age. plus I mean once you finish the missions from that campaign they werent replayable to it was just unplayable data taking up space that could be used for playable activities.
